Terms and Condition

By engaging Camarillo Tree Service ("we," "us," or "our") in Camarillo, CA, you ("Client" or "you") agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
We provide professional tree care, including tree removal, trimming, pruning, stump grinding, emergency storm response, and ISA-certified arborist consultations. Scope, timeline, and pricing are outlined in a written estimate or contract.
2. Estimates and Payments
- Estimates: Valid for 30 days based on site evaluation and client-provided details.
- Payments: Due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Accepted: cash, check, credit cards. Deposits required for large projects.
- Late Fees: 1.5% monthly interest on overdue balances; services may be suspended.
- Additional Costs: Unforeseen issues (e.g., hidden roots, access limitations) may increase cost with prior client approval.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Access: Provide clear, unobstructed access to work area. We are not liable for damage to items left onsite.
- Permits: Client obtains all required permits unless we agree to assist (additional fee applies).
- Marking: Clearly identify property lines, underground utilities, irrigation, and hazards. No liability for damage to unmarked items.
- Debris: Removal is client’s responsibility unless included in contract (haul-away available for fee).
4. Safety and Liability
- Safety: Keep children, pets, and others clear of work zone. We comply with ANSI Z133 and Cal/OSHA safety standards.
- Liability: Not responsible for unavoidable damage (e.g., falling limbs during removal) when due care is exercised. We carry full liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
- Force Majeure: No liability for delays due to weather, wildfires, earthquakes, or equipment failure.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellation: 48-hour written notice required. Late cancellations: 20% of estimate.
- Rescheduling: Within 24 hours may incur $100 fee, subject to crew availability.
6. Warranty
- Workmanship: Industry-standard work guaranteed. Report issues within 7 days for free correction (within original scope).
- No Health Guarantee: Tree/plant survival not guaranteed due to environmental or pre-existing conditions.
7. Disputes
Resolved via negotiation or mediation in Ventura County, CA. Prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney fees.
8. Termination
We may terminate for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance. Client remains liable for completed work.
9. Intellectual Property
All plans, designs, and recommendations remain our property and may not be reproduced without written consent.
10. Governing Law
Governed by California law. Legal actions filed in Ventura County, CA.
